Ingredients for the Humous:
1 small can of chickpeas
1/2 garlic clove
1/2 lemon squeezed
1 tbsp tahina
1 drop olive oil
Salt
Water (optional)
How to prepare Humous:
Blend all the ingredients in the electric blender until it gets smooth. Add some water for a less thicker texture. Season to taste. You can top it with some olive oil and paprika.
It makes an excellent dip or spread. Grilled vegetables are a fantastic complement to create a meal.
Ingredients for the Grilled Veggies:
1 Tomato
1 Small Eggplant
1/2 courgette
1 drop olive oil
Salt
Saffron (optional)
How to prepare Grilled Veggies:
- Slice all the vegetables about 1/2 cm thick.
- Warm the grill or the frying pan. and place the vegetables.
- Season with the salt, the saffron and the olive oil.
- Allow a couple of minutes on each side to cook.
